It’s the first day of April and Doing Stuff is sooooooo March-coded. We’re turning over a new leaf and rethinking our whole vibe. Doing Stuff is no more, now we’re focusing on not doing stuff. Here are our favorite ways to Not Do Stuff in Chicago:

• The best way to not do something? Sleep it away. Instead of going to an amazing concert at one of Chicago’s incredible venues - take a nap instead. Perhaps in one of Chicago’s Best Parks?

• 50 Things to Do in April? That’s 50 too many things. We prefer 0 Things to Do in April. 50 Things is wayyyy too exciting. When would we have time to stare at a wall?

• Out-Of-Hibernation Staycation - OUT of hibernation? This year we’re bringing hibernation back for the summer. Who needs excitement and sunshine when we have a body pillow to draw our ex’s face on? (DoNYC, please call us back, we miss you.)

• Sick of staring at the wall during your Do-Nothing spree? Spice is up a little (but not too much) and stare at Lake Michigan at one of Chicago’s Beaches.

• Avoid Free Shows like you avoid rush-hour on Lake Shore Drive. There are so many free and cheap events in Chicago that will suck you in to a night of doing stuff - make sure to never look at our Free Stuff page.
