Steppenwolf closes its 50th Anniversary Season with the Chicago premiere of Catch as Catch Can, Mia Chung’s shape-shifting play where three actors take on six roles across generations and genders.

When a prodigal son returns to his blue-collar New England hometown, old wounds resurface and two families are forced to confront buried truths, fractured identities, and the stories they tell themselves.

Directed by Tony Award nominee and Steppenwolf ensemble member Amy Morton, and featuring ensemble members Gary Cole, Audrey Francis, and Tim Hopper, the production moves seamlessly between comedy, suspense, and startling reinvention.
